Long awaiting notification feature is here at last. I am going to write down a little "how-to" in a short while, until then you just need to add "n@benmii.com" to your address book on your Wii to receive friend codes right on your message board.
Also I am asked to wait for the second wave of Wii's to hit US before giving away the sticker and magnets for Wii tags, which seemed quiet alright to me.

So sorry about not being able to update for a while, if you got a wii, you'll understand. We are playing with it for 3 days straight and no other console was this fun so far for me. Notifying system ready, I am just trying to clear up some details and I am gonna make it online soon.
You can add "n@benmii.com" to your address books now to receive the add requests and notifications as soon as they are online.

Today I received a mail from Phil. Asking me if I can make real ID stickers to slap on his notebook - macbook to be precise - so, I said why not and here they are incase any of you want to buy them. Another thing is, I am thinking about random give aways (about 100 of them, already ordered) after the Wii Europe launch which is in two days. I am kinda feeling festive already!

My soon to be ex mail box is almost full and constantly bouncing at the moment and BETA test for notifying function is over, but incase you want to mail me please use ali@benmii.com for now. In other news today I pre-ordered my Wii, hopefuly it'll be in my hands this Friday. After couple of tests notify will be online for the rest of you guys, I really want to make it online quicker since it's a awesome feature and will directly bounce the add requests to your Wii so you won't be needing a computer to add-back your friends.

You can add the Wii addict card on the left to your website or forum sig now. You just need to know your Benmii ID which you can look up while submitting or searching for yourself. Copy and paste the code below and edit my_benmii_id according to your Benmii ID.

· A Wii fan who wants to remain anonymous contacted me and told me that their boards does not allow 'script' tags as signature because of the security reasons and asked if I can make a image output and God said: Let there be PNG sigs.

First of all thanks for all the attention and support, I've received a lot of mails, more than I expected any way, my mail box is almost full and I am trying to respond to all... anyway, we got some updates for you..
· We are working at the moment, just 'Refresh' if something is bonked up.
· Internet Explorer quirks are fixed now.
· Benmii got dugg, please show us your support, dugg, comment us to the front page.. .)
· We have domain name now, which is hell alot easier to remember, so update your bookmarks to www.benmii.com.
· Some little performance tweaks made and you can make a partial search now.

Well to be honest, I haven't got a Wii yet. Since Europe is getting shafted as usual, we still have 7 more painful days to go. While I was searching the web for more bits of information I came across with people having hard time remembering and exchanging their Wii numbers and cannot populate their lots with friends. So, I came up with this little thingie. Simply you can type in your name, wii number and some text such as your name or screen name, add yourself to my little list over here, become searchable. People can search you off the engine on the top, get your number without even bothering you. Simply you can populate your friend list hell a lot more easier. Hopefully once I get my Wii, I can check out what can I do with the Shopping/Browsing Channel.
If you came across a bug, glitch or there is a problem with you key just contact me. Also here is some trivial information for the ones who is wondering about the name 'benmii' means, "Me?" or "i Mii" in Turkish.
Oh one last thing, if you are in Istanbul/Turkey and gonna buy Wii on the release date, please send me a mail. I really need company. :)
